Components of the Reserve education program include school field trips, summer camps, teacher training programs, science-based workshops and seminars, community outreach, exhibits, and the production of curricular, informational and technical materials. All Reserve education and outreach activities are designed to enhance public awareness of estuarine systems and foster stewardship of coastal resources.
