The K-12 Field Classes at DISL are available through Discovery Hall with a variety of field trips, labs, and lectures designed especially for students of those ages. Each program consists of a half-day field/lecture or a half-day lab/lecture experience. Programs may be incorporated into short day trips, or into 1 to 4-day field trips for groups staying overnight. Programs include Touch Labs, Dauphin Island History, Marine Animal Dissection, Beach Walk with Maritime Forest, Salt Marsh Ecology, Estuaries Boat Trip, Coastal Oceanography, Marine Debris, and more!
