he mission of Green Initiative at UAB is to establish environmentally-friendly policies on campus, raise environmental awareness, and help students become involved in serving UAB and the Birmingham area. We partner with various student and community organizations, and past programs have included guests speakers, sustainability workshops, waste audits, and volunteer opportunities.
